Once you’ve claimed your rostered class, you are free to edit the name from that class settings menu. I claimed my rostered class, but the name of the class is confusing. Click “Finish” to confirm your new classes. With these new premium Remind account, all previously created Remind classes remain untouched and ready for use. Rostered classes will have a green “sync” symbol next to them, while previously created Remind classes won’t. Upon logging in the first time, you’ll be greeted with a ' Confirm your classes' screen, where you can claim your rostered classes. I also wish there was a way for group messages to show who has read the message. Right now it is very low, and I have found myself either making a video, or typing out my comment in a note or a message and screenshotting it and sending that instead. I also like how there are “office hours “you can set so it will tell the student that it is outside of your office hours if they try to contact you at an appropriate time. I like how parents can sign up as a parent so when you send a messages either you can pick parents or students, and I also like how there is an individual messaging option for a student to reach out to their teacher individually. I love how I can schedule messages in advance, and even send a picture, or a video if needed. Remind allows this communication to be secure without exchanging phone numbers. PROSĪs a teacher, communicating with parents and reminding students of information is critical. Students love it, parents love it, and everyone seems happy with all of the things that it offers. Remind has been very helpful to me as a teacher during my entire career. ![]()
